                    <description><![CDATA[The First National Youth Leadership Training Summit in Nigeria was held in Enugu on the 22nd of october, 2005. The summit which started at 10:00am had the representative of the Enugu state commissioner for environment and solid minerals, Mr peter Obidinma, the Executive director of the Enugu state action plan committee on HIV/AIDS, Dr.C.C Ani, the Director of Alliance Francaise, Mr Gerard Chouin and a host of other dignitaries at the opening ceremony. Resource persons where drawn from across Nigeria. The training Summit which was centered on the millennium development goals and their implication for poverty reduction, peace and security, HIV/AIDS and the environment came to it's peak when participants pointed out that corruption is the major cause of poverty in Nigeria with abundant resources.<br />
The summit which had representatives from the six geopolitical zones in Nigeria ended with a clarion call for youths to talk less and act more. ]]></description>
